Environment:

Kelpies are creatures of the sea. Highly inquisitive, they dive deep into the ocean’s depths to meet new creatures and explore new coral kingdoms. Laureates have observed a curious companionship between Kelpies and dangerous sea creatures, allowing them to explore even the most predatory trenches in complete safety.

Abilities

Kelpies are considered one of the most potent Ethereals at water manipulation. Upon hatching from a Diving Bell, Kelpies immediately grant their bonded human partner: the ability to breath underwater, simple telepathy with aquatic lifeforms, and the capability to create small currents which propel one through the water at superhuman speeds. Kelpies and their bonded hosts have created riptides, camouflaged within water, and even adjusted the water temperature to instantly boil or freeze.

Personality

Highly curious and highly emotional. They love to explore new locations and try new things, but are prone to rapid mood shifts depending on the circumstance. They can be immensely happy, desperately sad, terribly afraid, and overjoyed once again in the course of a few minutes.

TIP: If you want to keep a Kelpie on your good side, carry around some seaweed. The salty snack will instantly put them in a good mood.
