Description
White Holes (the counterpart to Black Holes) were just an Astronomical theory until Gerald Copernicus discovered the first Astral Egg. An exogeologist and explorer, Gerard traveled the Earth and Moon Planets collecting countless comets for his studies. Eventually, he began noticing pockets of space in which everything that touched it, even light, was pushed away. He encountered dozens of these mini–White Holes over his decades of research, but every time he attempted to approach one, either his craft was pushed off-course, or the White Hole would simply move away until it disappeared on the horizon. After being laughed out of academia circles, he approached a band of Space Pirates to assist him in surrounding one of these White Holes. Together, they slowly approached it from all directions at the exact same time to entrap it. Hundreds of lives were lost in this first attempt as the mounting expulsion tore ships to shreds, but the resulting Astral Egg inspired a generation of exogeologists to devise more practical hunts and capture methods which are used today.
